Level II water quality

Water is one of the most commonly used solvents in the laboratory. In some cases, water content is more than 99% of the weight of a solution. Therefore, laboratory water quality is a critical factor in determining the quality and reliability of tests. Based on the quality of purification, water is divided into: Water quality level I, water quality level II, and water quality level III. There’s also a separate group of water systems for analyzers.

Merck water systems designed to supply clean water (water quality level II) use several treatment technologies. The resulting water is used in the production of buffer solutions, pH solutions, microbiological media and in these devices:

  • Ultraclean water (water quality level I) Milli-Q system
  • Clinical analyzers
  • Washers
  • SSt autoclaves.

Elix Advantage water purification systems

Elix 20/35/100 water purification systems

Elix® Essential 3, 5, 10, 15 water purification systems

For laboratory systems requiring up to 300 l/day of clean water. Ideal for laboratories usually requiring a cost-effective water system that reliably supplies high-quality water of purity level 2. Elix patented electro-deionising technology is combined with other water treatment technologies, such as primary treatment, reverse osmosis, UV lamps (UV Essential Elix® systems) to produce high-quality water of purity level 2 with constant, reliable, high water parameters. An Elix® electro-deionising module always means very low cost and predictable operation, as well as low water and electricity costs.

Elix Gulfstream 35/70/100 water purification systems

For laboratory systems requiring up to 2000 l/day of water. For laboratories that are looking for an “all in one” system, the Elix Gulfstream system is a great choice. Its compact systems on wheels are designed to supply clean water to remote compressed diffusers or other laboratory equipment (glass washing, automated cultural multimedia equipment).

RiOs-DI systems
